Radian Laser Systems Launches Laser Automation API, Connecting Order Systems Directly to Production
New API server automates job creation and queuing across networked Radian systems, eliminating manual file prep for high-volume and variable data orders.
ANAHEIM, Calif. [9/9/2026] – Radian Laser Systems, a manufacturer of laser engraving and marking equipment, announced the launch of its Laser Automation API. This system connects e-commerce, ERP, and order management platforms directly to Radian Laser equipment. The API software automates job creation and routing across networked machines, removing manual job setup from production runs with high order volume or unique order data.
The system accepts order data natively in JSON format. For shops without development resources, Radian also provides a pre-built Excel template. Customer data is extracted from a CSV or database string and is mapped into the template. The API Server then converts into ready-to-run jobs. The API also supports barcode-driven job selection and is compatible with cobot integration, giving users a way to extend automation beyond the engraving itself.
“Shops today are drowning in manual file prep. Every personalized order means an operator building a job by hand — which caps how much you can produce and introduces errors on every part. The API removes that step entirely: order data comes straight from the systems you already run, and the laser gets a ready-to-run job without anyone touching a file.”
– Gary Sheriff, Radian Laser Systems
For shops running multiple Radian laser systems, the API centralizes job management across the full production floor. Rather than configuring each machine individually, operators can route jobs to any available system from a single queue, reducing idle time and manual coordination across machines running simultaneous or sequential jobs.
The Laser Automation API is now available for all galvo-based models.
